Leza has fifteen years’ experience of successfully raising funds and cultivating donor relationships.

She trained with the European Community Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection Office (ECHO) where she assisted in the contract management of ECHO projects: including initial assessment, follow-up of intermediate and final reports, grant agreements and financing decisions.

Fieldwork includes five years in Macedonia and Kosovo – with the European Centre for Minority Issues, the OSCE Spillover Monitor Mission to Skopje and the OSCE Mission in Kosovo (OMIK) raising funds to support human and minority rights, civic participation, parliamentary strengthening & media development.

In the UK she has worked with the Westminster Foundation for Democracy and the British Red Cross. From 2012 to 2016, she was Head of Fundraising at Reprieve.  

Leza now works independently to help organisations find funding for their work in the UK and overseas.
